Salida Sangha Gathers By The River!
Please join us for our June 6th Sunday Sit on the banks of the Arkansas River at Roberta Smith's house at 712 W Sackett Ave. Please bring a chair or cushion and appropriate clothing. If you don't have a chair, no problem. There will be several available on site. We will also use this time together to discuss the future needs and wishes of our sangha members; so we would be delighted to see as many of you as possible!
There will not be a zoom sit on June 6th.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
With blessings and gratitude,
Your Salida Sangha Board
September 18-19 Retreat With Brian Lesage
We are considering holding the September retreat at Meadowrock Ranch in Nathrop in person for those who have been fully vaccinated by August 17th.However the board needs your input about this question in order to make a decision. Brian is open to doing either a Zoom retreat for everyone or an in person retreat with those of us who have been vaccinated. We understand that the in person option excludes those who aren’t vaccinated but we as a Sangha are responsible for putting safety first.
Please respond to this poll by May 30th by simply replying to this email with a Yes or No and any comments you would like to share! Also, please reach out if you have any questions.
If we held this retreat in person at Meadowrock with up to 30 fully vaccinated (by August 17th) participants, would you attend?
Thanks in advance for letting us know your preference!

HEAR YE! HEAR YE! HEAR YE!
CALLING ALL ABLE BODIES AND WILLING HEARTS!
The yard at the Sangha House has been invaded by swarms of unwanted green aliens this past week. So we are hosting an emergency yard cleanup this Sunday, May 23 at 10:00 a.m. If possible PLEASE join us for some fun camaraderie and wholesome yogi chores! Tools, gloves, hats etc. are recommended and your help will be met with boundless gratitude.
Many hands make light, quick and enjoyable work!
Hope to see you on Sunday.
DOES ANYBODY REMEMBER WHEN THE YARD USED TO LOOK LIKE THIS?
With blessings to all from your Sangha!
