7:30 a.m. (or whenever you can get there) intil around 9:30 a.m.
The board met in the yard at the sangha house today and determined that there are enough bad guys about to go to seed that we need to have an emergency cleanup.  We had a really good turnout last month and made fabulous progress in a short time.  THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!  Plus this is a good opportunity to chat together and also for you to give us some useful feedback on the thoughts we have about a memorial/meditation garden in the yard.
 
Permanent Yardwork Crew Needed
 
In addition to this Saturday’s weed pulling session we would like to establish a small group of dedicated people to create a “Yardwork Crew”.
This group would have the following duties:  regular watering of trees, plantings and possibly grass;  regular weeding; occasional pruning of trees; occasional thinning of plants, as required; maintenance of “hell strip”; other outdoor projects as needed.  It would be good to have 4 – 8 people so these duties could be rotated.  The expectation would be for a once per month commitment to spend some early morning or evening hours doing what’s needed during the hot months and then tapering off during other months.  This crew might also be involved with winter show shoveling, as needed.  Anyone interested please contact Paul at 7paulvos@gmail.com.  Thanks!
