Meeting
An important meeting will be held May 6th at the sangha house, 248 D St, at 11:00 a.m. followed by a potluck lunch at noon. Please plan to attend to hear about upcoming events, financial updates and help us plan for the future. Also that day we will be having the spring cleanup of the yard beginning at 9:30. It would be awesome to have lots of help! Yet another way to show your appreciation for the sangha house. Survey The Sangha Board wants to be sure we are fully serving the Sangha and so we have put together a survey to hear from you. We are currently laying the groundwork for the 2019 retreat, working to increase our Sunday sit leader volunteers and get feedback about Sunday sit. If you could please take a minute to complete this short survey as soon as possible (and by May 1st at the latest) that would be wonderful. We will summarize the results, then share and discuss them at the May 6th all-Sangha meeting. Here is the link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/HDC83Y3 Thank you in advance for completing the survey! We still need volunteers to sign up for cleaning and watering yogi jobs. Sign up sheets are in the kitchen at the house. Sunday sit leaders can sign up on our website at the bottom of the community page: http://www.salidasangha.org/community.html And now, this month's poem- The Beholder by Rosemerry Wahtola Trommer While the wind chime clinks and the magpie chatters and the mare nickers and the doves swoon and the melting snow tinkles and the passing cars purr there's a woman who listens surprised at how what she hears most of all is a stillness inside her that seems to spill its quiet all over the clamor of morning, perhaps the way the shadow of the mountain seems to spill across the earth and changes nothing and changes everything. Our deepest blessings to you all, Your sangha board
