New year's eve and annual meeting recap

We will gather at 4:30 pm at 248 D St. and do sitting and walking meditations until about 6:00 followed by a potluck and a lovely fire outside.  It is an opportunity for us to let go of the past, set intentions for the future and spend some fun social time together.  What a great way to welcome in the New Year.  We hope to see you there!  And we finish in plenty of time for you to celebrate elsewhere.
 
Annual Meeting Recap
Our annual meeting on December 3d was a great success.  We distributed retreat dates and reports from our various groups, approved the 2018 proposed budget and held the board election.  Cindy Sasso has resigned as treasurer so we are looking for someone to fill that position.  The treasurer's position requires knowledge and experience in accounting/bookkeeping with proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel and Word. This position requires a high level of integrity to maintain confidential information and files. The meeting continued with small group discussions of the four questions we sent out last month.  The meeting was well attended and we got incredible, enthusiastic input concerning our direction forward.  We ended with each group sharing their input and so many suggestions and new ideas were presented that the board decided to hold a board retreat in early January to develop a strategic plan for the coming year.  You will receive that in our next email.
